Juvik is a trained psychiatric nurse and vocational teacher. She has a master’s degree in Collaboration and Public Health from the Western Norway University of Applied Sciences, focusing on obesity and preventive health care. Juvik has extensive work experience as a specialist nurse in mental health care, advisor in labour and welfare administration, advisor in educational and psychological counselling service, and experience in interdisciplinary collaboration.
Juvik is currently a PhD candidate at Førde Health Trust. The doctoral project is a work package in the research program «Personalized and data-driven speciality care. Health service research based on patient data routine practice», where Juvik is doing research on patients and stoma care nurses» experiences using a clinical feedback system to promote adaptation to living with a stoma – a qualitative study.
