Florin has a position as a urologist at Førde Central Hospital, and has had a important role in the introduction of various scoping techniques at the hospital. He is well in progress with the Ph.D project, “Severity of lower urinary tract symptoms and its association with male sexual function, metabolic, hormonal and inflammatory parameters – a pilot study.” The aim of the study is to investigate possible connections between the severity of lower urinary tract symptoms in relation to the risk of progression and possible complications. Prior to pursuing his Ph.D, Florin has been an active contributor to several research projects, both as author and co-author, and has won several prizes for his contributions in education and research.
