Kristin Vassbotn Guldhav
Guldhav is an oncological nurse at the Cancer Department in Helse Førde. She has extensive clinical experience with patients and their relatives from both the oncological and palliative fields. Presently, she works as a research coordinator with the goal of establishing a robust research environment within the Cancer Department and expanding networks nationally and internationally. Concurrently, she is a Ph.D. candidate at Helse Førde. Guldhav initiated her doctoral project in 2021, titled «Satisfaction with care and health-related quality of life in caregivers of patients with advanced cancer.» Her research utilizes data from the PALLiON RCT study, which investigates the effects of a complex intervention to integrate palliative care into oncological treatment for patients with advanced cancer and their relatives. Guldhav has been admitted as a doctoral student in the Health, Function, and Participation program at the Western Norway University of Applied Sciences.
